Publishing, Audiovisual Rights and Licensing–Multi-connected Business around Children’s IP

Licensing represents a large part of the publishing business. More and more publishing houses are developing their own licensing programmes based on the success of their well established IPs. On the other side, entertainment content providers need publishers to give a long-term life cycle to their properties. In this session we will talk with key leaders of the publishing and entertainment industries to learn more on the strong interactions between these two worlds and how they should connect to create a successful kids brand.

Speakers:
Susan Bolsover (UK), Director of licensing and consumer products, Penguin Ventures (part of Penguin Random House)

Cecilia de la Campa (USA), Executive Director, Global Licensing & Domestic Partnerships, Writers House
